THE SOVEREIGNTY OF HOPE
Have a wonderful week! 💗
Hello blog friends. Today is #TankaTuesday, and author Colleen Chesebro asks that we write a TANKA PROSE poem. This form has two parts - a preface and a Tanka of 5-7-5-7-7 syllables. I hope you enjoy my simple attempt. THE SOVEREIGNTY OF HOPE Two years ago, COVID traveled across the planet, seeding fear. Many of us lost sight of hope. We forgot that each day holds a promise because we only experienced the darkness. Often just the simplest act can open our hearts. Have a wonderful week! 💗

Hope needs to be sovereign for sure. Nicely done. I guess a tart kiss would come after a margarita.

Covid has had an effect on my attitude on life. I didn't take things for granted before, but I have just a little extra bit of appreciation for the simple things in life that bring us pleasure.

Thank you so much, Pete. I'm so happy you'll be able to visit your brothers. I'll be traveling across the country as well -- to see my four grown kids and grandkids in the greater NYC area. It's been far, far too long. Hugs!

If hope becomes sovereign, it's so true: sorrows softens. I agree. Let's keep the flame of hope burning. And continue to spread it. Thanks for this lovely post. I love this kind of encouragement and wisdom. Thank you. Be well. I wish you miracles.
