Grateful...for my grandpa's home--which nurtured my mom and her siblings, and later my siblings and me. Sometimes looking back helps us see our tomorrows in a different light. Yesterday can be the today we keep reliving or it can be the launching pad of our dreams. Today, we celebrate both. Happy Thanksgiving.

Reluctant or shy heroes walk beside us. Through their actions, they remind us that we have a choice: fear or love. Sir Nicholas Winton chose love and his legacy is a living testimony to our extraordinary journey. We are journeymen, you and I, and the master craftsman is life. We learn quickly sometimes, but more commonly we learn very slowly, and we travel far and near to grasp our trade. We all get sidetracked at times in our quest for meaning and perfection, but one way or another, through the assistance of kind strangers, the patience of therapists or healers or friends, and the prodding of those who may seem to be foes, we are brought back home to ourselves.
Deep within each of us, there is a well of love—a place of wholeness, a place of completeness. This sacred well is alive with wisdom and tenderness. It is our true self; it is where Perfect Love resides. This all-encompassing and unconditional love draws each of us home. And ever so slowly, as we grow more confident in our journey, letting go into Perfect Love becomes a way of being.
