Poetry

Many years ago, I lived in Japan and taught English. While there, I became intrigued by Haiku. This poetic art form now dances through various social media. With its resurgence, my early interest is rekindled.

On this page, I've included a few of my poems. Many follow the basic Haiku structure but there are others as well. I hope you enjoy them and perhaps consider joining in the fun. I'd love to see your poems!
Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way. ―Viktor E. Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning
