Hello friends. We've had several sunny days of recent and with the clear skies, we've delighted in watching eagles soar. They nest within sight of our deck, so we can sit and watch their nest activity and their flights.

My husband took the two photos. I can't claim anything other than a simple haiku.

Spring has finally arrived and with it, much magic. I hope you have a wonderful sunny day!

I’m so jealous. We get them along the Boise River. I’ve watched all winter but haven’t seen a single one this year.

That's a bummer, Craig, but maybe you had a harsher winter? Fingers crossed you'll see them soon! So magnificient. 😊

Oh, wow!! An eagle's nest you can see from HOME? I'm SO jealous, Gwen!! But I will try to behave myself and not grumble about it. Too much. :D Seriously, so happy for you. That's a wonderful view you have, my friend. And a perfect haiku, too. Lovely post!! 🤗♥

We can watch from our deck. We're thinking of moving, ugh, and when I look outside, I wonder how can I leave this. Too beautiful! 💗

Hi,
Eagles are my favourite birds. I usually receive an Eagle Calendar with Eagles posed in different positions and beneath each picture is a verse of Scripture . This year, I didn't receive one and I miss it. I will have to find out who prints them. The Eagle reminds me of strength and perseverance and of course the promises of God.
You are indeed blessed to have a nest so close to your home that you can observe them.
Great pictures and great haiku.
Have a lovely weekend.
Shalom aleichem

Thank you, dear Pat. I hope a calendar arrives soon! Because of what you've written, now I shall always think of eagles as holding the promises of God. How lovely.💗

We occasionally see bald eagles where we live in California. There is one of those cameras where you can watch the activities at the nest somewhere in the county, but the exact location remains anonymous for obvious reasons. My students loved visiting that website, even if they didn't get to see the eagles in person.

How fantastic to watch them, Pete! I can imagine how excited the students must be. They are extraordinary birds. 😊

I love to see shots of eagles flying. How lucky to be able to enjoy them. There something magical about soaring in the skies like they do. Beautiful and your Haiku captures that mother's moment. Love this!
