In 1985 Mother Teresa spoke at the United Nations. Throughout the crowded room of dignitaries and movie stars, attendees waited--for Mother to walk out onto the stage.

Bent with time and sacrifice, she arrived and the entire audience rose and offered respect. This diminutive woman held everyone's attention as she spoke of tangible love.

Her words were simple and to the point, and people of all faiths and nationalities understood, for her language was universal.
