Harvest Moon

Hi dear friends, it's #Tanka Tuesday and author Colleen Chesebro invites us to participate in another poetry prompt. Since it's the fourth Tuesday of the month, we're to respond to a theme -- the Harvest Moon.

I had fun with this one, imagining younger years under the moonlight. I hope you like it. Won't you join in with your poem? Mine's a simple Tanka, syllables 5-7-5-7-7, but you can choose any syllabic form.

Have a wonderful week!

Hi,
Very nice rhythm. Laid back. It reminds me of first love.

It's so strange, Gwen. Your responses didn't show up on the notification on my blog for the last few times I commented. I followed you but your blog posts don't come to my Reader. I bookmarked your blog to make sure to visit. When I click the link, I have to go through several steps to get to your blog.

Anyways, I'm just curious of what happened. I hope you're back to normal from your allergy now.

Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way. ―Viktor E. Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning
