Gwendolyn M Plano

Each week author Ronovan Hester invites interested readers to participate in a Haiku Prompt Challenge. This week he gave the words Daring and Bold. Though I know very little about this art form, I'm intrigued enough to attempt Haiku verse. If you have interest, please click on the link above, where you'll find detailed instructions. My simple poem follows.

Excellent haiku, Gwen. It always sad to meet a closed heart.

Well done, Gwen. Closed hearts are unhappy hearts.

Powerfully done, Gwen. I've always wanted to attempt a haiku as well but haven't worked up the courage. I do love reading them and think you did an excellent job.

Excellent Gwen, the whole post with the poetry and the photo works well. The carved heart suggests that all is not lost.

Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way. ―Viktor E. Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning
