Hello, dear blog friends! Today, March 10th, is extra special. It is the International Day of Awesomeness, a day set aside to recognize the heroes among us.

Each of you is inspiring and amazing, and I'm forever grateful to know you through your books and your blogs. Today, though, I'd like to especially honor one person. Someone you probably know well -- writer Sally Cronin.

Each day Sally showcases different authors and other creative souls on her blog. She features their books or their works of art and offers reviews. Through her posts, followers meet gifted folks from around the globe. The one unifier is the love of the creative arts.

Tireless and deeply committed, Sally generously shares her embrace of life with everyone she meets. More than anyone I can think of, she embodies the word awesomeness.

Sally has written over a dozen books, and each one has received acclaim. She's an excellent writer, both because she is very skilled, and more importantly, because she writes with her heart.

Across the pages of her books, Sally's embrace of life is everywhere present. Her poems, her short stories, and her personal shares, all offer precious glimpses of her awesomeness.

I've read four of Sally's books: Life Is Like A Mosaic, Life Is Like A Bowl Of Cherries, Just An Odd Job Girl, and Flights Of Fancy. Through poetry and prose, she tugged open my heart and filled it with the images of the miracles of life. Each tender read earned a 5-Star review from me, and I highly recommend them to you.

Throughout these posts, the thing I come away with the most is Sally's kindness. It shines from her beautiful blue eyes and radiates outward in laughter lines and a warm, generous smile that encompasses everyone she knows.
