Midway through a magical trip in upstate New York, I fell and broke both bones in my right arm. I hadn’t realized how dependent I was and am on my two hands until that moment. It will be a while before I can write effectively—though I am learning to peck with my left hand.
I’m reminded of Ecclesiastes 3 -- There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens… This is my season to rest and to relish the simple things of life.
